Do they still run that scheme with ShopRite where they watch people walk out of the lot and hook them?

Looking at this photo, it seems like Ez-Towing is doing the recovery work for the PD. This isn't the first time I seen the PD use them. I would like to know if the city has a contract with this towing company? If there is a contact in place, is it a recent contract, or is it a holdover from the previous admin?

If it is recent, I thought the new mayor promised a change when he comes to office.. How do you give a contract to a company the State has found to violate the law? (http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... _city_towing_firms_e.html)

EZ Tow is proven to be run by thieves and scumbags. They should have their license revoked and be prevented from operating in Jersey City.

Hey septicat, I take a much needed trip to a white sand beach and you resort to stalking tow truck drivers under the Skyway? Muah.
