Passed by this place last night and a guy standing outside said that they are going to open in a week. I think it's going to be food + BYOB.

I agree, there is a beautiful antique bar inside, and the space looks perfect for a bar. I also think the name is quite silly, but who am I to judge.

I hope it does well, but I think it will need something on top of coffee and hookahs to stay afloat. Maybe light middle eastern food? "The Dopeness" makes me think they're either going for a hippie or a hip-hop theme

It has also been Kiki's - a very good restaurant
A lobster/seafood place A great Puerto Rican restaurant - maybe called Garcia's

This is going to be a cafe/hookah joint I believe. No booze, I believe. The name is going to be The Dopeness. Should be open in a month or so.

ah that place. i remember it many many years ago when a good family friend was the head chef. great guy and great food.
i'd like to go to that address for a bit one day again just for the memories

This space looks like it used to house a bar but to my knowledge nothing has operated since at least 2006 or so. Seems something is going in there now -- anyone know what?
