Rumor has it that every union which has interviewed both candidates has chosen Fulop.

All the Healy endorsements come as insider deals.

Or so I've heard. Perhaps somebody from one of the unions or from the campaigns will go on the record about that.

This explains a lot.

Are these transit unions related to the PATH system? If so, then I don't blame them for supporting the guy who covered for them and called their 4 month timeline to fix the PATH a "Home Run".

The reporters covering these endorsements are lazy. Copy the press release, get comment from the other side. Done. Why not report on the process behind the endorsement and why it happened?

exactly. The JCEA endorsement stems from Healys relationship with Greco (who tried to run for the school board while being the head of the union) and from the fact that his cousin Romano is on the union's board.

So basically this is just some back-room deal between Healy and the head of the union, motivated by who-knows-what.

JCEA and AFSCME did not, and some of their members are pissed.
