If you speak like you write, I can see why she was confused.
Shah Taj makes good food. It's pretty much the same as Shadman, but spicier.

Yes Shah Taj replaced Medina. Menu seems to be the same, though Shah Taj does have a large array of Indian desserts.
I find the food to be very good and quite affordable. My only complaint is that they often run out of things so you have to be a bit flexible at times. Not sure what the OP was getting at either, but the new owners seem quite nice and hopefully can tighten up the operational end of things...

I am not Shakespeare but the original post in this thread is written very poorly. Even the flow is horrid. It kind of runs on with out a conclusion of sorts.
Did this place replace Medina?

Man, am I pissed. I made it what I thought clear to the nice lady behind the glass food partitions at Shah Taj that what I was doing was ordering for two. Some of this, some of that, on some rice, you know. But she insisted on putting palatial portions in separate containers, and told me it was $31. Hell, no.
Previously in the evening, beginning at six, I had tried to order delivery from Medina (mimimum order $20 last month, today it's $25). The nice lady on the phone was so flustered, and kept having me call back, that it grew dark. That's when I branched into the former place. Ah. Finally. Shadman's, where they are willing to give you 1/2 pint portions for $2 each, if you ask. Wish they'd deliver.
