"other theories are also being pursued" is a wonderful euphemism.

With a big $ on the bag. There something not right with this story. I wonder how the investigating officers kept themselves from guffawing at her claims.

View Larger Map Jersey City police say woman carjacking victim reports losing $60,000 in cash and jewelry, along with her SUV, to masked man who tapped on her window Published: Saturday, October 29, 2011, 3:03 AM By Michaelangelo Conte/The Jersey Journal A carjacking victim was robbed of $31,000 in cash and $30,000 in jewelry when her SUV was snatched by a gunman in front of her Jersey City home Thursday evening, officials said yesterday. The 36-year-old woman told police she double-parked on Kensington Avenue between Kennedy Boulevard and West Side Avenue at 6:27 p.m. and ran into her home to pick up a bag of money. After she returned to the vehicle a few minutes later, a man whose face was covered with a white bandanna tapped on her window, reports said. When she asked the masked man what he wanted he showed her a silver handgun, reports said. The carjacker ordered her out of the vehicle and he stopped her from grabbing her purse, the cash and the jewelry before getting out of the SUV. The carjacker then jumped in and sped away, as did a car that had been parked in front of the victim?s vehicle, officials said. Police are looking into the possibility the woman was targeted, officials said, adding that other theories are also being pursued.
