The name of the place on New York Ave is Bond Bedding. It's on the corner of New York and Hutton. The owners name is Burt Gitlin. He's very personable. I know he makes custom mattresses but only spring mattresses. He does sell to individuals but you will either have to pick it up or pay for shipping.

The is a place up in the heights, at the corner of New York Ave. and Hutton St, that is a mattress factory. They don;t sell them out of there but they make them there. You may want to pop your head in there and see about cutting something to your specs. If you come up Palisade and turn onto Hutton, the first street you come to is New York. Make a left turn and pull into the first parking lot on the right. It is a big brick warehouse with a huge brick smoke stack. I have no idea of the name of the place, I just know someone who worked there and that is what he said he did.

Try the Mattress Factory in either Fanwood or East Hanover N.J. (Middlesex/Morris counties).

Seems like it would probably be easier (and much, much cheaper) to just get a foam mattress topper from Target in whichever of King, Queen, Full, or Twin best fits inside your son's tent. If the tent is smaller than that, then maybe you could cut down a Twin?

In answer to your question, I don't know of a place that makes custom mattresses, but I'd bet someone here does.

Hoping to find some information where to buy a foam mattress, cut to my specifications in JC? I know of those kinds of places in the previous cities I lived at, but clueless where to start looking here. Need to get a 2-3 inch mattress to cover the floor of the play tent my son now wants to sleep in since Santa Claus brought him that.
