somehow I don't think checking the white pages is a very accurate way of researching this.

According to White Pages.com, the only listing for Michael Daly is on Freedom Place. There are no other Dalys listed at the Gardens address

An off-duty Jersey City firefighter tackles an alleged arsonist, leading to his arrest

A Jersey City firefighter was injured Saturday after tackling an alleged arsonist Willie Frederick, 39, of Third Street, reports said.

At about 1 a.m., an off-duty firefighter spotted a man setting paper on fire in a hallway at the Holland Gardens housing complex, 208 15th St., reports said.

The off-duty firefighter, Michael Daly, chased and tackled the man, enabling arriving police officers to make the arrest, Fire Director Armando Roman said yesterday.

Frederick was charged with arson, reports said.

The fire never amounted to anything and Daly was treated at the Jersey City Medical Center for an ankle injury he suffered during the chase, he said.
