I think its evident there won't be any change in policy regarding pedestrian safety until there is a new administration overseeing the city's departments, whether that happens to be the police department on enforcement, or the DPW on safety improvements to the streets.

These accidents equal crime, but the criminal is the government of Jersey City. This is obviously an incredibly unsafe road, but the Mayor and the Road Dept and the Police do nothing to stop the accidents.

The victims in these accidents need to sue the city.

Great. Saw the tire tracks and leftover sand from the gas spill on 2nd on my way back home this afternoon.

HOW MANY ACCIDENTS ON JERSEY AVE WILL IT TAKE BEFORE THE JCPD AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS WILL DO ANYTHING.

Put a PO standing on foot with radar detector on one block to get the speed, then nail the speeders on the next blook with cop cars. And do it frequently. Ticket everybody parking in the red zones on corners.

Bring back the rumble strips or even speed bumps. Then make every other intersection a 4 way stop.

These crazy accidents have to stop.

Accident does not necessarily equal crime.
