All the information is on their site. http://www.christhospital.org/son_admissions.cfm
Your credits should transfer, but just talk to admissions.

Christ Hospital has a 2 year ADN RN program. Plenty of people in the program have a BA or other degree already and are changing careers as well (myself included). The school has also just received "School of Excellence" recognition.

My Wife changed careers and became an RN a couple of years ago. She went the 4 year route and obtained a BSN from Rutgers -Newark. She liked the program and the $ was far less then private colleges. She told me to let you know their ARE accelerated Nursing programs that would allow you to graduate in 18 months with a BSN, however the downside of that is you are in school all year round which would be tough if you are currently working. And she said that from talking to new Nurses that did the accelerated program, seem to have a harder time transitioning into the job, maybe because they don't have the same amount of clinical experience etc. So good luck , we need Nurses!

I'm looking to change careers and interested in finding out more about any RN programs that are in or close to Jersey City. I already have a BA in an unrelated field. The resources on the web haven't been very helpful, and I was hoping anyone in the medical field could recommend the type of program that would best suit me since I already have a 4 year degree and would like to not have to go back and spend 4 years to get a BSN degree. I live near JCMC so any programs affiliated with them would be optimal.
Thank you!!
