My husband and I went recently-it was just ok. I much prefer Madame Claudes. Also, I prefered the menu when it was Triumph, it had more options. Outdoor seating is nice, but the interior somehow lacks atmosphere....

$14 for Mac & Cheese!!! just because it has bacon, mushrooms and truffle oil. ok, truffle oil is pricey but they're not using the entire bottle.

to anyone ordering this dish. . .give me a call I've got a bridge to sell you.

that is some crazy pricing i don't care how good it is.

i've only been once since the change of ownership but it seemed good.

The menu is great despite the hit or miss service (same as Triumph)

Not impressed. I am more than happy to pay a little extra for a good meal but this place was nothing out of the ordinary. There for It is over priced for what it is. I still think you should give it a try though and form your own opinions.

They're on Morris; but Madame Gin sounds like a plant writing good things about the old Triumph all over this website.....

Most advertising contains the address and contact information of the business. (Although I do wonder why all of MadameGin's posts tout restaurants.)

Bistro la Source's menu doesn't seem to have changed much since its previous incarnation as Triumph (which was quite good.) My wife and a friend actually went there for brunch several weeks ago, before the weather became nice enough to eat outdoors, and ended up leaving within minutes after they noticed an extremely strong sewage odor permeating the dining area. They were actually shocked the restaurant was open that day, given the smell. Presumably whatever happened has been resolved, but it has kinda put us off of going back.

Anyway, I should hope that at $14 their Mac & Cheese is good. (It looks like the same price for lunch and dinner. Who in their right mind would pay $14 for Mac & Cheese at lunch?? Or dinner for that matter!)

What is with Macaroni and Cheese and JC? Every place in the city has their own take on the dish. Not complaining though...

I think everyone should check this place out... Their mac and cheese is like better than Marco and Pepe's and I never thought that was possible. The snails , yummy!!! I was very pleased with the service. The Bartender was awesome and very informative. The owner was really nice too! I want to go next time and check out their entrees. Also considering it's a French restaurant I think the portions are very reasonable for the price.
