Definitely check out Howard Richman on Varick Street. His food is delicious and his prices are reasonable.

If you like their food you might want to talk to Shadman on Grove Street.

If you just need a caterer and you already have a venue, try Renato's Pizza Master / Restaurant. They have great Italian food. My extended family always uses them for parties.

It's a wedding reception for 200, which is a lot, but we're only looking at either a stationed appetizer service or light buffet, self-serve buffet. Open to anything food wise, although latin would be a nice plus.

What's the event? Number of people? Type of food you're looking for? I've worked with a few neighborhood caterers and might be able to recommend someone for you ...
