More in the Philly area, but I think Longwood Gardens has an indoor area in addition to the grounds. It can make a good weekend excursion.
It's too bad Duke Gardens closed. I worked there weekends/summers/holidays all through my high school, college years and even worked there full-time before I landed my first post-college "real" job ('74 - '82). It was a pretty unique place.

Looking for indoor gardens/arboretum/greenhouses in NJ. Something along the lines of Duke Gardens out in Somerset County.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_Gardens Anyone know of any other such picturesque indoor garden locations in NJ? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
