Will this Heights Bar -- "the Oasis bar" -- get in trouble for selling to underage kids?

I live right next to it and the place causes nothing but trouble, a couple of years ago it was totally out of hand.

Does a drunk woman walking alone late at night deserve to be sexually assualted? Crime is crime and the people who are at fault are the ones who committed the crime.

3:20am and you don't realize 7 people are following you? They set themselves up by being plain irresponsible.

Yeah that happened about 3 year years ago, at that very bar, and led to a murder on my front doorstep...quite literally.....someone needs to keep tabs on that freaking place.

Men followed from Heights bar, robbed, cops say

A Jersey City resident and two Union City men drinking at a Heights bar were preyed on by a group of robbers who followed them from the establishment to a nearby home early yesterday morning, officials said.

At 3:20 a.m. the 30-year-old South Street man and his 19-year-old friends told police they left the Oasis Bar on Palisade Avenue and a group of about seven men followed them, reports said.


Outside the South Street home the robbers stopped the three intoxicated victims and took their valuables, including cash, a credit card and jewelry, before running away on South Street, reports said.
