I haven't watched in a very long time

Watching stuff like this is just a reminder of how full of themselves actors are, and a reminder of the entitled attitude of everyone involved in that industry.

If I see them speak it just makes me hate them so much that it makes it harder to watch their movies.

The Oscars are supposed to suck. I just wish people didn't watch it and contribute to these people's feeling of self-importance.

They were a little boring this year, but I was so so happy for Glen Hansard and Market Irglova. Once was one of the best movies I saw last year -- so genuine and simple and beautiful. And they're not even actors! They are working independent musicians who do not even begin to fit in with the Hollywood scene, so to see them get rewarded was pretty amazing. And when Jon Stewart brought Marketa back out after they cut her off... best speech of the night! I heart Glen and Marketa!

I've only watched the Oscars maybe 3 times. It always sucks. Plus it's just a bunch of rich celebrities patting themselves on the back.

Watched the Oscars for the first time in awhile and boy did they stink. John Stewart was a tool and a shill for the Hollywood crowd who he made every attempt not to offend. The songs all sucked too. The old guy getting the Lifetime Achievement was the only interesting part as he was walking/talking Hollywood history.
