I hate when some streets are double names and then you get 3 street signes on one pole.
I forget the street, but one I saw was something like "Dr. Rev. ... Way" At least just use the last name.

By the way, Christopher Columbus Drive was originally Railroad Avenue, it was changed in the late 1980's. Henderson, there were two created famous pottery in the Paulus Hook area of Jersey City-one of the brothers also was Mayor.

I second that Girliegirl...........and that goes for Railroad Avenue and Grove St. too.
However, if they're going to rename a street to some dumb new name, they should rename the entire street. Otherwise, it's just confusing.

Marin Blvd. also turns back into Henderson Street north of the Holland Tunnel viaduct. Same thing with Manila Ave.. It's Grove Street on the south, Grove Street on the north. Really fantastic urban planning.

Marin Blvd. was originally called Henderson Street. It's been Henderson Street ever since I can remember. They renamed it Marin Blvd to make someone else happy so yeah they should keep Henderson Street where it is.

If you look via the Google Earth site and find the corner of Marin Blvd and Grand St / The Gull's Gove Site - you will note that the street south of Grand St is no longer Marin Blvd but HENDERSON STREET.
Henderson Street is just a small section from Grand to the Marin Blvd light-rail before it becomes Marin Blvd again. Does that mean that Marin Blvd light-rail station will be renamed Henderson light-rail station. Seems light a stupid idea and will only confuse people to rename a small section of street to keep some dude called 'Henderson' happy.
