there used to be a sax player on 2nd and Erie. now there's an opera singer. her rehearsal was the soundtrack to my walk this morning. neighbors like these make city-living magical.

If music is your thing, come up to MLK and see the guy playing the 'spoons' for small change. Man, he really gets worked up and beats himself up into a frenzy playing with those things. He hangs around the light-rail station.

I do love isabelle huppert. I thought the sounds were wafting in from the grand st side of things, but sussex is a good bet too. s/he's not playing today though.
