The sandwiches there taste great and the guys working there are very nice. The only complaint I have is that they put too much meat in the sandwiches for my liking. I joked with them about it and let them know to keep the meat for other clients. Very personable staff.

Yeah, really clean nice little shop - the guys are very nice too! They even try to have some organic things.

I stopped in today as well. Very small, but cool. For every item there, they try to have one organic item as well. They're also open an hour later than the other two bodegas around 2nd and brunswick.

Grand opening was today, turns out it is a bodega-type store with a limited selection of groceries, some fresh fruits and veggies (again, limited) and deli sandwiches. At least now there's milk in the neighborhood.

Got a peek inside today, doesn't look promising. The room you walk into is about the size of the average Manhattan apartment master bedroom. Unless there is a huge back room which will be the shopping area, this doesn't appear to be a walk-in food store.

Worst logo ever. I'm not sure if it's going to be a "store" via their web site. It almost looks like a warehouse type thing where you place your order, then go pick it up. Sort of like FreshDirect without the delivery part. I hope I'm wrong though.

Very cool to hear there will be another grocery store in the neighborhood. Hopefully this thread doesn't turn into another pointless discussion about whether or not it would be a suitable location for a Trader Joe's, even though everybody knows it's not going to be.

Yeah they are right off Newark Avenue in one of the many new buildings that have been going up around Brunswick. Looks good!

Not sure what to make of them yet -- they have a nice sign and are from Union City. Here is their web page

I was walking down Brunswick between 2nd and 3rd this weekend and saw a new sign. From first glace it looks like some sort of health based food store. Anyone know anything about this?
