How about cutting a deal with some of the commercial parking lots to let residents with local parking zone permits, park for free during this kind of construction? Or even limit it to named local streets showing on driver's licenses. These commercial lots give big parking discounts to businesses - I know banks on the waterfront can get around a 50% discount on monthly rates for their employees. Why can't the City get something back?

I believe the parking authority is allowing residents who live near this construction to park in the neighboring zone without being ticketed. Send me an email to cosborne@jcnj.org

Find a lot?
Unfortunately. it's the price you pay in a newly gentrified area.

With construction starting at the parking lot on Montgomery St & Grove St, where does the common man find street parking ? 10 parking spaces have been lost and I am sure more will go...the situation is like Hoboken :(
