The police came to the site and didn't seem to indicate that there were any police cameras, and in fact the officer was also looking for private cameras.
As an aside, I was hit by a car running a red light earlier in the year, at an intersection with cameras. When I tried to obtain footage from the police, I was told there was no footage. I don't know if the cameras weren't working, if they're fakes, or if the police didn't want to share. I put in an OPRA request and everything. Ultimately the other driver was found guilty based on eyewitness accounts so I didn't really go after the police with a lawyer because I was exhausted. But, moral of the story - don't count on police cameras.

sucks because that's happened to me twice with one car being totaled. However, both drivers were caught.

Saturday night (well, technically sunday) around 12:30am drunk driver hits several parked cars on 5th between Coles and Monmouth. Possibly farther east as well. If anyone has camera footage of incident, or of erratic car (to see license plate or car make/model), please advise!
