Hudson County changes to be focus Tuesday of WNYC radio program

Loving the new restaurants on the Jersey City and Hoboken waterfronts? Got the hots for a new condo development in Weehawken or Bayonne? Noticing changes within the Latino communities of West New York and Union City?

Well all those opinions, observations, and much more take center stage tomorrow morning, as WNYC-AM radio show host Brian Lehrer explores demographic and other changes in the county over the past 10 years as part of the program's continuing series, "Your Anecdotal Census."

Lehrer's guests will include Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise and New Jersey City University political science professor Fran Moran.

Residents of Hudson County are invited not only to phone into the show, but to attend the live 10 a.m. broadcast at the Jerome L. Greene Performance Space, WNYC's street-level studio at 144 Charlton St. in Manhattan.

Tickets are $10 tickets to attend and can be purchased at ovationtix.com.

The program has already explored demographic and other changes in Middlesex and Essex counties, as well as Brooklyn and Queens.

I heard about this project while listening to WNYC. There are only three Hudson County comments so far - and one comment mentioning how Hamilton Park has changed since the renovation.

Moved to downtown JC in 1997, got priced out and in 2005 moved Uptown.

In the very early 80's God threw me into Greenville and now here we are. Thats how I ended up in JC even though I moved out for the 3rd time.
