The lack of ability or comprehension of the necessity to use discernment in judging situations is becoming pandemic in our country. The constant screams of: ?We can?t do that....because WHERE WILL IT END?? To quote Jon Stewart or Bill Maher (can?t remember who said it), it will end where we tell it to. We make the laws. We can make things case specific! I feel like we?re smack dab at the beginning of the prequel to the movie Idiocracy.

The campaign is over. He is not actively campaigning now so he should not be in the cross hairs.

Nope, just commenting on the Star Ledger/nj.com story and seeing if they?ll hold Murphy to the same standard they held Christie.

The spokesman dodged the question. Sure as soon as the FOI request is made we?ll find out the truth. In any case, the son actively campaigned for dad-so he?s fair game for scrutiny.

"These accusations pertaining to the Administration's use of official resources are wholly without merit, and they are being made for one sole purpose. NJ Advance Media is trying to justify a disgusting invasion of privacy into the life of a young private citizen," said Dan Bryan, a spokesman for the governor. "The Governor's children are not public figures, period." seems like a pretty clear denial to me http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2018 ... 2box_nj-homepage-featured

Murphy flew there in a private jet but refused to confirm or deny whether state assets were used to bring his kid back to the US for treatment.

Wasn't it a private jet - meaning Murphy paid out of his pocket. Also, when you use your family to campaign for you or with you, they are not a private citizen. Sounds like his son is a mess. Spoiled too.

Because a Governor worth over $100 million dollars shouldn?t burden NJ taxpayers with flying his adult son from a foreign country after drunkenly falling off a roof and injuring himself?

somehow there seems to be a difference between using a helicopter for a medical emergency and using a helicopter to attend a baseball game. i can't quite put my finger on the difference though.

NJ.com reported today that Gov
Murphy?s son was medivacted from the Bahama?s to NYC after falling off the roof while on vacation. Murphy refused to confirm or deny that a state helicopter was used to facilitate this. Remember the outrage when Christie used the state helicopter to go to his kids baseball game?
