Woman is hurt in home attack

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

A Jersey City woman beaten by five women and stabbed in her home on Sunday told police it was part of an ongoing beef, officials said.

When police arrived at the home of the 25-year-old victim at Ocean and Neptune avenues at 12:04 a.m. she told them the women had showed up and began to punch and kick her in the body, head and face, reports said.

She said that at some point one of the women stabbed her in the leg, reports said.

The victim was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. She told police she knows the women who attacked her and can identify them.
