Because I always carry a broken mirror with me in case I need to freshen up, get lost in the wilds of JC and need to signal passing aircraft my location, or in case I get into an argument and need to slash somebody.

- Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Man injured in friends' quarrel

Wednesday, June 24, 2009
PAUL TAKAHASHI

A man from Manhattan was cut in the left elbow by his friend's girlfriend Monday morning, Jersey City police said.

The 31-year-old man, who police say was intoxicated, was visiting his friend and his friend's girlfriend Sunday night at their apartment building on Congress Street and Hancock Avenue, police said.

At around 7:30 a.m. on Monday, his friend and girlfriend began to argue, and during the argument the girlfriend pulled out a broken mirror, police said. As the Manhattan man tried to calm her down, she cut him in the left elbow and the man was taken to Christ Hospital to get stitches.

Police said they were not able to locate the girlfriend.
