I suspect this was not about the car.

It is unfair that suburban districts pay money to Jersey City for our schools. We have plenty of money here. That needs to change. Newark has plenty of money too. The Abbot program should end.

It's actually nice, but traffic on Jersey ave is a mess. They should turn Jersey Ave into a pedestrian plaza too.

The insane Polish netizen over-reaction about the statue is hilarious on Fulop's twit page. He must have half the trolls of Poland harassing him.

Re: Deeded Roof question

Pitfalls: Your roof will leak and everything in your home will be destroyed. The vibration and noise will keep you up at night. You will never be able to enjoy a roof deck up there with a loud AC unit cooling the downstairs neighbors. Compressors should be in the shade in the back of a structure, not on the roof where it's much hotter and they have to work much harder.

Say no.

I've driven by there hundreds of times and never knew there was a K-Mart back there.

Also, a 200k tax increase? Damn!

Wait, what does the pedestrian plaza on Newark between Erie and Grove have to do with traffic in India Square and by Monteleone's?

Apparently Newark Ave at India Square is the next pedestrian plaza planned.

So I click on this thread looking for a brunch place, thinking that Holi Hai is some kind of a new restaurant at Exchange Place.

Instead I find user BeatrixKiddo as usual calling people names, this time over effin talcum powder.

I think I lost my appetite.

Just wait for Yvonne to complain about the parking because of the event and Monroe to complain about the immigrants.

Not the worst thing in the world to keep waterfront bound traffic out of downtown.

Anybody but Menendez.

How he has escaped this so far is beyond me. Let's get rid of him for a democrat while we can.

Absolutely insane to buy that property. Deep in the flood zone (was under 3 feet of water in Sandy/Irene) and up against a abandoned building. Say goodbye to your entire first level in the next big storm and possibly your whole building when the building next door is worked on. That's all landfill there!

Downtown renter here. My landlord said he's raising the rent by $300/mo due to the re-val. So, now we're moving out of JC. Bye!

Symes being a woman isn't a good enough reason to vote for her.

Her being a pawn of a predatory Australian real estate investment company is a good reason not to vote for her.

We have both now. I was appalled at the condition of the cemetery on a recent visit. Whoever is in charge of the cemetery is not spending the fundraising money on maintenance.
