Thanks for the stupid version of a lesson in dumb people civics.

Now explain why that excuses your trying to give Trump credit for the actions of a private organization.

I?ll wait.

In case you would care, the Supreme Court has already held that emergency measures in response to pandemic are constitutional. It has been so for decades. Trump is just a failure of a president and a waste of flesh.

Aside from that, Florida has a shit ton of deaths and cases a day now. You shouldn?t brag about a shit show. It indicates stupidity.

I don't know if you are familiar with the 10th amendment but any powers not specified to the president or federal government is left to the states. So, it is up to states to run their hospitals, if they are using federal tax dollars, there are some strings attached but no US president can dictate to any state. South Dakota never closed and Florida closed last and opened first.

Besides the Comfort and the Javits, Central Park was converted into a field hospital by Samaritan Purse which is a religious organization that goes into foreign countries to help fight pandemics. And that hospital was not used, too. https://www.samaritanspurse.org/our-mi ... erm=samaritanspurse%2Forg

These governors told Trump F'off we will handle this ourselves. The left got especially nasty when Trump imposed international travel restriction. The US Army Corp of Engineers spent days repurposing the Javits Center as a field hospital and the US Navy sent the US Comfort... NYS and NJ made no attempt integrate those federal resources into the active state covid response plans. However they did adopt interstate travel restrictions, very similar to international restrictions. They were never used at any point.

One year ago, while "leading" state C19 responses, I am curious how many of these democrat governors were having wet dreams about the possibility being drafted as a presidential / VP @ the upcoming summer democrat convention? Or writing books?

The Comfort did next to nothing. There were almost no patients in the Javitz, and the travel ban did not affect the countries that were the source of most infections in the US, which were from Europe.

Cuomo should be strung up for his bullshit, but that does not excuse every Republican governor being WORSE. Texas is quickly closing in on NY for more total cases, and more deaths, despite it getting serious there many months later. In fact, Texas has a much higher number of cases than California, and triple the daily death count of NY state. Florida has a higher case count than California and a higher death count than NY.

So, fuck off with the continued bullshit on Cuomo despite the republican governors also angling to fellate Trump and his base by sacrificing their people TODAY.

What a pack of garbage. You schmoes didn't give a shit as a half million people died and there was no plan to provide help to businesses and states, and all of a sudden you're all health policy wonks.

I don't remember a single complaint about every lie Trump made in the last year, let alone the whoppers in his entire term.

As for Cuomo, fuck him. I hope a truck runs over that jackass. The deal he made to give the Republicans the Senate majority in NY alone makes him a piece of shit who is more interested in himself over doing any good.

AP, a left wing media giant is cherry picking, as was the NYT today? That sounds like Cuomo logic. Murphy was already on the national news last Sunday pleading his defense.

If you remember, Murphy used a democrat healthcare consulting group to validate the NJ Covid Program last summer. That same group had just finished validating Cuomo's Covid Program the previous month.

As for Texas/Florida, you will have to open the doors eventually. Texas's biggest super spreader event right now is from the Biden/Harris Illegal Entrant "Catch and Release Program". I would take my chances at a sold out Texas Ranger game rather than riding on a 24 hour Grey Hound Bus from TX to NYC.

All the democrat governors in the Northeast should be investigated for nursing home deaths... meanwhile NY Post reports today that NYS continues to disregard the science... and the statistics.

A non profit group is giving covid tests on the people crossing the border before they take greyhound buses, they said 10% of the people tested positive for covid. Most likely some of them are heading to Hudson County where they have family.

The current daily vaccination rate is over 2.1M, so that article is cherry picking.

As for Cuomo, I hope he gets run out of town. I hope you are just as hard on Abbott and DeSantis for being irresponsible TODAY.

And once again, the Trumpies are sharing manipulated videos of Biden, like the liars they are.

Here is the whole statement, in HD, so that the lower resolution doesn't hide the mismatch of the lips and words in the dumb link above.

http://www.hartfordcitynewstimes.com/ ... 65-8929-4897110589d0.html

Back on topic.. death rates are down due to warmer weather leading to more outside activity, as well as much higher vaccination rates.

Now, if you guys would convince your dumb Q buddies to get the vaccine, we can get to normal earlier.

Governor Phil Murphy has signed an executive order increasing indoor capacity limits for certain businesses and increasing both the general indoor and outdoor gathering limits. These changes will go into effect on Friday, March 19th at 6:00 a.m., aligned with increases in capacity in Connecticut and New York.
