Might want to edit your post and delete that last paragraph, you made sense until then.

I have to commend Corizine for putting this up. It is pretty ridiculous that we have towns of < 6,000 as a separate municipality immediately adjacent (sometimes completely surrounded ) to other cities.

It make sense in Texas where a town of 6,000 could be 100 miles apart from the next largest city.

I really don't mean to put a damper on your enthusiasm, but you may want to consider a few things before you pack so quickly:

1. Ask about the remediation plan for the site. What toxic substances used to be on that building site, and how did the developer clear them out?

2. Hang out and do a personal impact study on the industrial site across the street from you. Is there dust, noise, truck traffic going to impact your quality of life? I believe it is a recycling plant of some sort - used to be when I lived nearby, but maybe that has changed.

3. Despite the incredible renderings on their site, http://www.theclifflofts.com/, that building is extremely close to the very busy roadway that is next to the light rail. (Noise, car fumes, patient JC/Hoboken drivers who use their horns ever so sparingly - and I jest) etc.

4. What security offerings do they have? The serpentine road in back of your site (that looks like it may not be there anymore?) that connected Hoboken to JC Heights has been the site of at least one murder and a few stabbings. There is gang activity in that area, too - it's just two blocks from the lovely Franklin Avenue section of the Heights.

I wish you luck - and good luck to the developer, too. It was nice to see that old brick facade finally brought back to life. I hope they can make it work.

I don't think a republican and social conservative running for JC mayor would be the same as the president we currently have. Its nice to know that you only vote party lines and not individuals.

I don't know much about Schundler, I'd have to wait and see what his stances are on JC topics.

I've also used it before and found the trainers are very good. Its more personal than going to a huge gym and they offer better classes. You can also get Taekwondo and self defense lessons that come in handy for those late nights from the path.

?residents vs non residents? ---this neighborhood was here long before you leaked out of someone?s nose. It is you who are the non-resident and it you who had better learn how to work with your neighbors

?? it is not practical for us to offer that service to you ?? who asked you to offer it ? someone said it would be nice to have ? most of us love the walk ?. Perhaps it will not be practical for us ?non-resident? Hamilton Park residents to shop in what promise to be your up-and-coming overpriced stores ?

perhaps we "non-resident" residents will not be happy with the increased traffic these shuttles will bring and where will they park while they are waiting for the "complex residents?"

Better yet, we ?non-resident? Hamilton Park residents should take down the license plate numbers of everyone of you ?residents? who will be parking on our streets and make serious noise to everyone in the City counsel and in the Mayor?s office about homeowners/tax payers? lack of street-side parking spaces.

Perhaps you should not be on a ?board.? A Board position requires diplomacy and people skills. You appear to have neither.

Forgot to take your meds? I agree with billyc. The residents of the buildings are paying for the shuttle. They are under no obligation to provide non-residents rides.

I also agree with ianmac47 to some extent. It would be nice if there was a standard service for all condos where non-residents of these condos could "buy" a membership.

for the record I don't live in a building with a shuttle.

I find it hard to believe that Barack never heard a hint of Rev Wright's bigot speeches during his long time part of the church.

None of the other crap brought up by Hilary or the news really bothered me until this. It is apparent that Barack is uncomfortable talking about this situation.

This pretty much says it all. We are less than a mile geographically from NYC buy light years in public service.

There is nothing wrong with different states having different laws. We don't need big brother FED telling states how to govern its people.

I agree with enforcement issues. Try not turning right on red at the Grove/Columbus intersection north bound on Grove. You will instantly get someone giving you the horn between the posted hours.

Hard to give life/death penalty when there is no pre-motivation to commit the act.

Past history of drink driving should have raised it past 11 years though.

edit: Just read that he was given the max sentence of 11 years. So the judge did the best he could within the law.

my guess is a foot patrol LEO witnessed you driving erratically , took down your plates and wrote the tickets. This is perfectly legal. Also, off-duty LEOs can write tickets as well.

You can always contact the court/da before your date to find out how the ticket was written.

Let us know.

Very nice ...

My suggestions:

Get her menu on all the local menu sites.

Get some signage, something with the name, polish flag
colors, also get some 'Grand Opening' banners and colored flags to get peoples attention from Newark.

Contact local magazines/newspapers, ask them to do a review.

I'm sure the marketing folks can come up with more.

The 2nd Amendment does not mention self-defense as being the reason the right exists.

That argument has been in the courts for over a 100 years and by now it is generally accepted that it does indeed mean the right to protect oneself.

I'm not sure what makes me more angry:

a) Local thugs terrorizing residents for pocket change
b) Organized crime, corrupt unions/politicians raping businesses & taxpayers.
