hopefully they'll be dead.

The sad thing is that I don't think the military can do that much for many. If they come back from Afghanistan or Iraq, will they be sane?

they should make a mandatory military service for kids except for those who go to college, get a job within some timespan or pay some amount of money for a release.

This area is teaming with thieves. I know someone who lives in that area and they were burglarized while they were sleeping in their apartment. FORTUNATELY, there was no confrontation. The thieves just entered through the window.

1 arrest made in gun holdup

A Jersey City man was arrested on robbery charges after a gunpoint holdup off McGinley Square on Wednesday, but a second suspect got away on a bicycle, officials said.

At about 12:30 a.m., police arrested Amin Sumter, 20, of Arlington Avenue, at Monticello and Fairview avenues after a chase, reports said.

Officers responding to Bergen Avenue at Reed Street at 12:23 a.m. met a 20-year-old who said he was outside his home smoking when two men asked for a cigarette, and then one of the men pointed a silver revolver at him and said, "Give me everything. I got six bullets in here," reports said.

The man handed over his Blackberry and $10.

Police put the man in a radio car and spotted the men on a bicycle, with Sumter riding on the handlebars, reports said, adding that Sumter jumped off and ran but was caught.

Reports did not say if the stolen items were recovered.
