Sun. 9/20/2015 noon. wow I watched a truck go over the bridge..it took about a half hour for it to get from one end to the other going west.

Route 440 is already getting backed up to Country Village with people trying to avoid the WB TP Extension which is at a stand still. NJ Turnpike Alert: Due to weekend long construction, only one lane will be open to traffic on the westbound Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension between Int. 14C (Jersey City) and Int. 14 (Newark), from 9 p.m., Friday, September 18th through 5 a.m., Monday, September 21st. Motorists should anticipate heavy delays during peak travel times, and should allow for extra travel time or consider alternate routes. http://www.511nj.org/
