Bail was set at $75,000 cash or bond for a wheelchair bound Jersey City man and his co-defendant who face charges related to possession more than a half ounce of suspected cocaine with intend to distribute, officials said. Marcelino Corporan, 58, of the 300 block of Johnson Avenue, and Jorge E. Compres, 23, of Wayne Street in Jersey City, made their first court appearance on the charges this afternoon in Central Judicial Processing court in Jersey City via video link from Hudson County jail in Kearny.
