Maybe whatever opens up where will be like Raffettos on Houston.

Godalfriday if Raffetto's opened up a shop here in JC, I'd shit my pants.

No need to go that route just come up to the Heights we have 2 authentic Italian delis Andrea's 247 Central Ave and Salerno's at 453 Central Ave. Salerno's is quite large and carries an array of Italian goods. They also speak Italian as well as English for those that are bi-lingual.

Ah the old 'overheard' - I overheard that the Europa was going to be a pasta store. Maybe whatever opens up where will be like Raffettos on Houston.

Wouldn't be cool if all the stores that open up on that block of Jersey were taken over by a reputable grocery chain and each store housed a different department - we'd have a supermarket without constructing a big surface building. Wegman's Main Street, Whole Foods In Town, etc.

Construction signs on the storefront directly north of the demolished hardware store indicate that the interior is being built out as a "food shop". Anyone have any details on it?
