I meant grand, not grove. If it's a resale they prob won't have to deal with PM. Mgmt co is fine and the maintenance fee is very low. could the mgmt be better, yeah, but they could also be a lot worse and maintenance could be a lot higher.

Besides asking about flooding, you should ask about the construction, about the developer, about the management company.

Are you using a real estate agent? My buyer's agent does not recommend Liberty Harbor because of the developer, Peter Mocco. One of her buyers had an issue, and she could not get her money back. Sorry, I don't know the details.

garden level businesses and apartments were flooded during Sandy. businesses on Grove were very badly damaged. i don't think there are many garden level apartments, but there may be a few on Tidewater, Liberty View, and the other streets leading up to Regent.

aside from losing electricity, no other issues.

i don't think i'd buy a garden or ground level apartment anywhere in JC.

My husband and I have been looking to purchase a home for a while - there is a property in Liberty Harbor that we really like. Does anyone know how this area was affected when Sandy and Irene hit? Some posts online state that Liberty Harbor Marina was the openning of the flooding into DTJC, but I don't know the severity of it.

Any comments are highly apprecaited. Thank you for your time.
