Be very careful. All the good contractors are already 'flat-out' doing government and insurance work with high financial returns and long contracts.
You will find that 'cowboys' will be moving in and taking advantage of private residents desperate to get their properties in order.
NEVER PAY UPFRONT TO ANY CONTRACTOR YOU USE - EVEN IF THEY CLAIN IT WILL BE TO SECURE MATRIALS and do your due diligence on their experience, credentials and qualifications

My apartment in downtown Jersey City was destroyed as a result of Hurricane Sandy. I'm looking for a contractor willing to work with me to restore the place.

Much Appreciated!

Alana
