View Larger Map In Jersey City, food delivery man beaten unconscious during robbery Monday, November 28, 2011, 3:00 AM By Charles Hack/The Jersey Journal A 34-year-old food delivery man was knocked unconscious during a robbery Saturday evening, Jersey City police reports said. Called to the Yoan Fong Chinese restaurant on Rose Avenue at 10:56 p.m., police met the delivery worker who said he was beaten by four men in their 20s when he showed up at 9:41 p.m. to deliver food at an apartment building on Wegman Parkway near Martin Luther King Drive, reports said. Tom Yang, the restaurant owner,said last night that his employee was knocked out for 15 minutes. Yang said he expected the employee to come back to the restaurant, but when he didn?t show up for about an hour, he drove to the location and found the worker sitting in his car. The victim, who refused medical attention, told police that when he came to, he found that his wallet, which contained roughly $200, was missing, reports said. ?He is doing fine right now and is home resting,? Yang said.
