I owe you an apology. The name Jersey City Brew Club suggested to me a bar or nightclub operating as a for-profit business. I didn't realize you were just a few guys making beer. I'm very sorry.

Thanks Frankie for voicing your opinion and not offering any assistance.

The design was completed in draft by a close friend, who was doing the group a favor. The design is great, but needs some polishing so I'm requesting someone that can work within the confines of what was done. As I've expressed to many associates in Jersey City - we will naturally pay for time incurred.

This raises a few questions in my mind. Why is the design unfinished? What happened to the original graphic designer? Who owns the copyright to the unfinished design? I take an interest in the business of art and I would make an observation here: Pay a fair price for your logo and don't go the cheep rout. Your corporate logo will often be the first thing the customer sees and their initial judgment of your business will be based in large part on the quality of the logo. Also, artists are highly trained working professionals and they deserve your respect. Don't pay them any less than you would pay for any other professional service.

Hey guys,

The Jersey City Brew Club is looking for an artist to finish our logo. It's nearly complete but needs some polishing.

If you could recommend a few artists who do hourly work, please let them know - or refer them our way.

Thanks!
