The 34-year-old told police he was walking home from Journal Square at 8:20 p.m. and was on Kennedy Boulevard, reports said. The victim said the men grabbed him from behind and punched him on the right side of his face but that he was able to get free and ran to the Walgreens on Kennedy Boulevard near Communipaw Avenue, reports said.
