View Larger Map Gunshot victim unable to help police find shooter Published: Tuesday, September 13, 2011, 3:00 AM By Michaelangelo Conte/The Jersey Journal A Jersey City man shot in the leg late Saturday was too intoxicated to help police officers trying to locate the gunman, officials said yesterday. Officers went to the Ocean Avenue home of the 45-year-old victim and found him bleeding from a gunshot wound to his right leg. He was ?under the influence of an unknown narcotic,? reports said. Police said the victim could only tell them it happened around the corner on Woodlawn Avenue. He was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center.
