Jersey City police say man, 20, shot in leg; cousin says males on bikes did shooting

A 20-year-old Jersey City man shot in the leg Sunday night was found by police on the ground in the middle of the intersection of Stuyvesant and Romaine avenues, reports said.

The man?s cousin told police that two males on bikes shot the victim, reports stated.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where the emergency room physician said he suffered a large bullet wound to his right leg and was in guarded condition, reports said.

Two shells were recovered at the scene with a clear plastic bag containing suspected crack cocaine, reports said.
