Spent gun shells found near park but no shooting victims

Jersey City police Gang Unit officers found seven spent shells near Arlington Park after getting reports of multiple gunshots in the area on Wednesday night, officials said yesterday.
Officers responded to the park at 9:46 p.m. after getting reports of numerous gunshots there.

However, they found no victims or evidence, reports said.
Gang Unit officers remained in the area to conduct a more extensive search.

They found the spent, .45 caliber shells on Arlington Avenue in front of the park, reports said.
