View Larger Map Three men shot near ball field Three Jersey City men were shot late on the Fourth of July near the Booker T. Washington housing complex, officials said yesterday. At 11:54 p.m., officers responding to Grand Street and Barbara Place found two of the victims on the ground and the third standing, reports said, adding that they ranged in age from 22 to 24 years old. One man had been shot in the back of the knee, a second had a wound that showed the bullet passed completely through his leg, and the man standing had a graze wound to the back of his neck, reports said. The victims said they were shot at Colden Street near Gateway Field and then ran to Grand Street, reports said. The men were taken to the Jersey City Medical Center for treatment of the their wounds.
