Jaime J. Ruiz, 25, of Pacific Avenue, was arrested at a garage on Clerk Street around 4 p.m. and charged with receiving stolen property, and drug charges including possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school property, officials said. When police went to the suspected "chop shop" they found Ruiz working on a car beside a stolen Honda Civic missing its engine, transmission, doors, tires, hood and interior, reports said. Police also found a motor in the garage that had been reported stolen in New York in 2002, reports said. When police entered the garage they "observed the strong odor of raw marijuana" and inside a toolbox they found two sandwich bags containing suspected marijuana, two bags of suspected cocaine and a digital scale, reports said.
