Although I hate to see a local business close, I can't say I'm surprised.

I tried brunch and lunch at Ria's a few times. The first time I must have been lucky, as it was pretty good overall with good food and decent service. After that all my experiences were negative, with terrible service (waiting 45 minutes just to get a glass of juice) and variable food. And usually one entree was quite cold, as though it had been sitting for a long time while another entree was being prepared. After the 3rd or 4th time I just gave up.

This place is in a good location so maybe something else will open in its place.

There's a CLOSED sign in the window and I haven't seen it open for weeks, months.

Hey - anybody know if this little place on Mercer Street is still open? Was actually thinking of stopping by for dinner.
