Two Jerset City arrested and charged with a attacking a teen who was sleeping with one of their girlfriends

Police arrested two Jersey City men for allegedly attacking a teenager who was sleeping with one of their girlfriends.

The victim told police, who were called at 10:15 to Cambridge Avenue, that he was attacked by four men. When the victim's parents came outside, the assailants took the victim's phone and fled.

The Sheriff's office arrested two suspects on Bleecker Street and Central Avenue. The suspects were identified as Dhaval Amin, 20, of Kennedy Boulevard, who allegedly dragged the victim into the street, Jose Guevara, 20, of Charles Street, who said he was the one who hit the victim because he was sleeping with Guevara's girlfriend.

Both Amin and Guevara were charged with robbery. Police did not to charge the pair with possession of a weapon after the victim became uncooperative, reports said.
