View Larger Map-= Jersey City man robbed by trio with gun inside Montgomery St. apartment building Friday, February 05, 2010 By GEM JEFFERSON JOURNAL STAFF WRITER A Jersey City man was robbed yesterday morning by three men, one armed with a black handgun, officials said. The victim was on the ground floor of the 563 Montgomery St. apartment building when the three entered. One of the men showed the victim his handgun and demanded that he give him whatever he had, reports said. The victim told police he handed over his cell phone and $70. The robbers then ran upstairs. He did not see them leave the building. The gunman was described as wearing a black and red jacket with a hood and blue jeans, while the other two were wearing black jackets with hoods and blue jeans.
