It's actually across the street from the building where the young mother was murdered a few weeks ago.

No idea why it was towed. I got a call at 1:30 in the morning saying I should remove my car from the lot next door. After moving the car, I went back to sleep.

It was construction. The wind was blowing so hard, one of the flat steel roof like things (sorry don't know what the technical name of it is) was flapping in the wind. The police were securing the area just it case it blew off.

I guess it was something you need not to know but good approach though. Save the question for your block association meeting, or go to the east district police headquarters and probe the captain. If you can't get around that figure out how the press seems to know everything or check with you 4 city council reps.

Saw a police car getting towed away around 4am

It was facing North and was in the ped crosswalk on the side of the median facing east.

There were like 3 flares blocking Warren southbound.

After the police car was towed another police car kept his lights flashing blocking Montgomery eastbound and he set up a lot more flares.

Also police tape.

Anyone know what happened?
