It happens WAYYYY more often than you think. If you need to save some money on a new cat, direct fit, go see Paul at Autopart International. 51 Pacific Dr.

A similar thing happened to me a few months ago. Someone stole the distributor from my Honda which was parked on Coles between 4th and 5th. Distributor is also an expensive part, I learned.

Has anyone else had this happen? While my car was parked in downtown Jersey City on Morris Street the weekend before Thanksgiving someone used a saw to remove the catalytic converter. I have come to find out that they are valuable due to the metals used, but I didn't think someone would be able to saw something off my car with no one noticing, especially in that quiet area.

Anyone have a similar thing happen in Jersey City?
