Intruder runs when woman, 25, screams
Monday, August 17, 2009 A 25-year-old Jersey City woman told police someone entered her bedroom at about 5:30 a.m. yesterday, roughly 30 minutes after her boyfriend left, reports said. The Custer Avenue woman started screaming, prompting the man to run from the bedroom and jump from the front balcony of her apartment, reports said. Advertisement The man landed on a BMW parked in the lot below and shattered the car's windshield, reports said. The man was last seen running on Custer Avenue, reports said. The victim found her apartment door ajar and the entrance door of the building was also open, reports said. KEN THORBOURNE
