Two shooting victims from Jersey City were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in the leg during separate incidents Halloween night, police reports said.
A 17-year-old Carteret Avenue resident was treated at Jersey City Medical Center after being shot in the right leg at Ocean and Kearney avenues on Friday at around 9:30 p.m., reports said.
Then, a 28-year-old year Old Bergen Road resident told police that he was shot in the leg and struck in the head with an unknown object during a bar fight at the Bamboo Garden Lounge at West Side and Grant avenues Saturday morning at around 1:05 a.m., reports said. The victim, who police said was slightly intoxicated, was treated at the JCMC for a gunshot wound to the left leg and a large laceration on his head.
