JC gas station robbed of $500

An attendant at a Jersey City gas station was robbed of $500 at gunpoint by two men in a pickup truck Tuesday night, police reports said.

An employee at the Duncan Gulf gas station at Duncan Avenue and Routes 1&9 told cops that two men pulled up into the station around 6 p.m. One man pulled a weapon that the attendant thought was a sawed-off shotgun, aimed it at his leg and yanked the cash from his pants pocket, reports said.
