Strong-arm heist in the Heights

A Chinese food delivery man was punched in the face and robbed by two men as he made a delivery Monday night in the Jersey City Heights, reports said.

The 54-year-old New York man told police he was making a delivery on Charles Street off Central Avenue at about 9:40 p.m. when two men approached him, reports said. One of the men punched him and he fell to the ground, where they stripped him of his cell phone and $50, reports said.

The pair then ran east on Charles Street and south on Central Avenue, reports said.
