I suggest calling Karen Sackstein, 201-794-1649. She was the outside accountant for our condo and is highly recommended. She can most likely refer a reputable bookkeeping service.

This is definitely the route to go in these parts considering the dearth of decent property management companies in the area. But that's assuming the board and other owners generally get along.

Have any condo associations had any luck with hiring bookkeepers and/or answering services in lieu of a Prop Manager? My association is considering this because of lousy prop management.
